Blueberry Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl

Could I even label myself a food blogger if I didn’t add a smoothie bowl to the mix!!
A colourful smoothie bowl oozes feelings of summer, however this one pictured was enjoyed in the dead of winter. Sometimes your body just knows what it wants and when mine was screaming for a smoothie bowl, then I listened.
The beauty about a smoothie bowl is you can can create a wholesome bowl with just a few ingredients. This blueberry peanut butter smoothie bowl uses only 5 (there will be more depending on whether you add some extra's on top.
I chose to use organic almond milk with this recipe but any other plant-based milk would work.
So if a delicious soulful bowl of smoothie goodness is on your radar, then this one has a ton of nutrition from every ingredient, meaning you’ll be cruising your way through your morning blissfully.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Banana frozen
  • 3/4 cup Blueberries frozen
  • 1/4 cup Oats organic if possible
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter natural
  • 3/4 cup plant based milk I used almond milk

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients into a blender (I used a nutri-bullet) and blend until smooth.
    Add the gorgeous blended smoothie into a bowl, and add the toppings of your choice.
    Now all there is to do, is sit down, admire the bowl of goodness in front of you & ENJOY.

Notes

Note: if you wish to enjoy this type of smoothie on the go, add a little more milk into the blend process, then pop it into a glass smoothie jar, add the lid and voila, your breakfast on the go is served!
